TPE-SFO 'D' Class availability

TPE-SFO 'D' Class availability

Hey folks

Have a wait-list TPE-HKG in D Class on CX531/19 Nov, connecting to CX872 (20Nov). Have been wait-listed for a few weeks now and understand that things don't look that great (KVS shows J3C2 for TPE-SFO for these flights).

Any idea if availability opens up a couple of days out? Am confirmed for the same flights departing 18Nov, but would much rather depart on the 19th.

Similar story for the return - am confirmed on CX879/21Nov, but would much rather take CX873/22Nov (the HKG-TPE connection leg for this is confirmed though, and KVS was showing something like J9C7 on this).

Am an MPC gold - not sure if that would help on these flights.

Generally CX releases all available seats about 48-24 hours prior departure. Hope you got your seat cleared!

im running into the similar problem here, but mine is TPE-SIN via HKG for early DEC.

wait list cleared for all my outbound flights depart on thursday. 2 on I fare and 2 on D fare. (different flights)

im having trouble for them to confirm my return flights, sunday's CX 734 SIN-HKG either I or D. it must be a popular flight although expertflyer constantly showing availability (I and D) for CX 734 connect to KA 488 (HKG-TPE).

ive got KA 488 cleared for I but not D.

cutting the deadline for the ticket issuing date will improve the chance of clearing CX 734? (at the moment is 29 NOV)

Sadly things hadn't come through for me for the specific flight i needed - in fact, it had gone to F0, A0, J0, C0 a few days before the flight (one F opened up later then)....so i just made alternative plans....
