Flying HKG-JFK on the 777 this Spring and can't decide between these two seats in F. 2A is on the same side as the bathroom and 2K on the galley. What side has more foot traffic you think? I am thinking 2K because of all the flight attendants going back there but on the other hand it may be good closer to be in direct line with them to better get their attention. Am I just splitting hairs here. I know I am but I am paying good money for the seat so just trying to enjoy the experience. Which seat do you all prefer? Better on the bathroom or galley side? I see the pros and cons to both.

Definately 2A. Those seated in the D seatings will exit towards the same aisle as those seated in the K seatings, hence you'll have less foot traffic if you are seated in 2A.

Then if that isn't available would you go 2K or 1A?

For me personally anything in A trumps over anything in D or K for the same foot traffic purposes. So of course if that situation arises, then 1A would be my recommendation.

Both of those seats are designated bassinet locations so if a family with a baby shows up the possibility exists that you get relocated to a seat not of your choosing. Just something to keep in mind.

Come on and seat on the 777 in F is good apart from the middle ones. Foot traffic in F ??? oh yeah, there is none.

Incorrect. If you are in 1A, every request that 2A makes results in roundtrip foot traffic past your suite. Every time 2A wants a drink, you get passed by in 1A.

Therefore 2A is the better seat to request.

And yes, left aisle may receive galley-to-galley staff traffic between F&J, though 1A and 2A will logically get the same amount. Based on my experience, crews don't prefer one aisle or the other. Lastly, passing through the galley from the D/K side to get to the lav can be a pain.

2A it is. Bassinet risk is worth the risk.

If you want no foot traffic, then charter a jet all to yourself with no attendant. Even then, you might still have someone from the cockpit walk into the cabin. Of course there will be foot traffic regardless where you sit in a commercial flight. Just because you are up front and have less pax doesn't mean foot traffic is nonexistence. And certainly the foot traffic on the 77A F cabin is more noticeable in the right isle as oppose to the left isle since you have four seats going in/out from the former while you have two seats going in/out from the latter, hence why many people prefer A over D/K, including myself.

Go for 2K it is the best on board: an advice from someone who flew that airplane for more than 20 times on the YYZ-HKG-YYZ route

Umm.... are you a frequent F flyer??? You must be asleep the whole flight if there is no foot traffic on a 777! There is a ton of foot traffic... not as much as Y or J. That's the reason I like 747 as there less foot traffic.

I like 1k or 2k on the 777. If the flight is not full then the middle seats are more likely to be vacant - making for a handy bedroom.

Foot traffic is never that bad in the 777 F cabin. Also consider the 747 has 3 more pax and because of that it can feel busy with people hovering around at meal times
