wifi
Does anyone know what, if any, plans CX has for implementing wifi on their aircraft? Specifically 747 and 777.

No publicly announced plans.

They used to have Netvigator (Hong Kong broadband provider) NetMail service though.
...imagine if they had wi-fi near the North Pole. |

I believe Virgin America has onboard wifi. Correct me if I am wrong.

There are a few inflight internet providers. However, they all use ground based stations and work within continental USA/Canada only. Not practical for CX to implement.

Yes, as stated, a handful of airlines offer this.
Thanks for the replies regarding wifi on CX. I guess vacation will start the moment I enter the F cabin! |
