I'm now in YVR/Sakura lounge and leaving in an hour.(going to MEX) I'll be back here this friday though.

I never ever thought of taking a trip to middle of nowhere Canada where you've lived.

BTW, HYATT Regency Vancouver(or whole city?) in this morning there was no hot water. Can I get a compensation?

You could try to get compensation from JL .......was the hot water not working in your hotel?

Not only in the Hyatt. This happened to the entire city that I was told.

That does not make sense......hot water is not piped throughout the city............all homes and buildings have their own hot water systems. I think you have been "had"! You need to get compensation from the HR YVR.......Next time let me know when you are in Vancouver........I know some places and people there !

From Admirals club DFW/Terminal-D

I don't believe that either. It's because, after they explained(lied) to me, I went to the Spa/pool on the 4th floor and confirmed that there IS hot water.

I'll be back YVR this Friday barring any flight delay/cancel.

Try the Fairmont, FS (service is top notch) or Pan Pacific....I also like the Westin Bayshore.....great views of the harbour and Stanley Park from the tower wing. Absolutely you were lied to at the Hyatt !

Good luck on your trip to the mountains, enjoy!
