Gate Pass at Pearson?
A colleague is heading to Pearson later today, and with time being tight wanted to be able to have a meeting with her at the airport given that it's an International flight and she'll be there with a few hours to kill.
I've looked everywhere online for Gate Passes for Non-Travelers at Toronto Pearson, but nothing after 2021 really and the only link on the Pearson website is a portal for employees. Nothing on airline websites either, such as Air Canada.
...Is this still possible? Any insight on how to go about doing it?
We can risk going to baggage drop-off / check-in together and hope the agent can offer one, but really feels like a random uncertain gamble at this point. She is flying Business class if it helps, going overseas.

Buy a refundable ticket to get through security and then cancel it after your meeting. Bring your passport. Risky for USA but not for international. For T1 just tell customs your meeting got cancelled. For T3 you can just exit.

I was just hoping they had their formal Gate Pass process back in place like it used to. I seem to remember you could request it, at the discretion of someone, and they'd let you walk them to the gate. That being said, it was more for helping say a partner better manage if they had a toddler with them, or an elderly grandparent sort of thing --but you never know!
