2011 YYZ Pearson Runway Run
Registration has just opened for the 2011 Pearson Runway Run! (& Walk)
Come wander up and down runway 24L! (the lower-right runway at this map: http://goo.gl/maps/AvGy) 5km run or 2km walk, with 24R remaining active right beside you. Great for spotting small-to-medium aircraft -- the big boys stay on the far runway most of the time, probably for safety reasons. :( Highly recommended for those that love every opportunity to walk on the tarmac. Hubby and I are both in. Trying to figure out if we can do the YOW-YYZ flight just in time to throw running shoes on and get out there- making it a true FlyerTalk Special :)
