2011 YYZ Pearson Runway Run
Registration has just opened for the 2011 Pearson Runway Run! (& Walk)
Come wander up and down runway 24L! (the lower-right runway at this map: http://goo.gl/maps/AvGy)
5km run or 2km walk, with 24R remaining active right beside you. Great for spotting small-to-medium aircraft -- the big boys stay on the far runway most of the time, probably for safety reasons.
Highly recommended for those that love every opportunity to walk on the tarmac. It's hot and smells like jet fuel too, which can be a plus or a minus depending on your personal preferences.
Information: http://www.gtaa.com/en/community_rel...on/runway_run/ (still just 2010, but should be updated shortly)
Registration: http://www.events.runningroom.com/site/?raceId=6572
If you'll be there, be sure to update this thread so we can have an on-runway DO!
