Ex-CHP chief to head SFO security

Gomez edged out San Francisco Police Chief Fred Lau, who recently acknowledged he had applied for the $150,000-a-year post with the new Transportation Security Administration. But sources say Lau is still in the running for the federal security director job at Mineta/San Jose International or Oakland International.</font> |
