First A380 Row 4

Quick question:

Compared to other seats in First on the A380, are 4A/K noticeably less peaceful due to their proximity to the galley and noise / light from there?

Thanks for any views on these seats.

Noise I can't comment as only sat in 1K but for light I've noticed any while walking back to the galley.

Not really. I've sat in the buddy seat there and wasn't disturbed by, or even notice, noise from the galley. Once it is sleep time the crew try to keep noise levels down.

A little bit more foot traffic and light but not a problem. 1AK suffer more (plus noise from the lavs) as you are facing the curtain.

Sat in 4A on a day flight there was a little noise and light from the galley but not so much as to be bothersome. I thought 1A looked like it would suffer more because of traffic to the toilets.

My last flight in 4K I did hear somewhat galley noise. I prefer row 2 or 3.

Agree with Swanhunter - galley noise a little more, but less disturbing than 1A/1K front curtain.

A mattter of personal preference but can honestly say for me there (unlike B747 F) are no bad seats in A380 F. The semi-enclosed seats work very well. Might even actively choose row 4, depending on mood.

Have had 2A and found no noise, and last trip 1A out and back and was not inconvenienced with very little traffic to go to the bathroom. Very snug in my bed^

I loved 1K when I flew in it. Very private.

I agree both 1A and 1K are very private because one cannot see the person next to you on the EF seats as of course slightly angled behind which is great. Looking forward to my 1A in September^

I found 1K a bit too noisy for my liking when I flew to SIN last September - particularly at the beginning and end of the flight the crew seemed to spend a lot of time accessing the storage lockers under the stairs that are accessed via doors just next to 1K. Fantastic amount of space however.

I recently had a MIA in 4K on the A380. It was a day flight, so not able to comment on the levels of light however no noise from the galley at all.
