what the mail is saying is so right at lgw we have to save a hell of alot of money in the next 18 months or there will be no more lgw come 2 years. there will be less crew on some of the flights domestic food ect will not change look out next month as that is when the new product is being given a go on some flights

1 - LGW is currently the saving grace for food on BA. If they are that keen on not giving anything in Eurotrash, why not implement it now at LHR. There isn't any food there anyway at the moment! I certainly think it has been a blessing that LGW has not been affected by the food fiasco and removing it from LGW seems a kick in the teeth to BA's loyal caters at LGW.
2 - Obviously if they improve the food in Club Europe I am all for that, as long as the book in advance I class fares remain, of course, otherwise it would be very counter productive for the whole product. (Surely BA would miss my 50 plus return I-class bookings per year?

I think this is a bad move. On 2.5 hr flights its good to get something to eat. I will be ok if CE remains unchanged. If food for CE goes I may look elsewhere.
