the email usually has the subject heading "BA changed e-ticket receipt xxxxxx: DD MMM MMMM hh:mm" and has a ticket number in the "Payment Information" table towards the bottom.

We had the same problem today for a GLA-LHR flight. Apparently our case came up following a series of cancellations, rebooking and - crucially - an upgrade. Apparently this can cause a ticket number mismatch and after T-24 when it's under airport control there's nothing BA can (or s willing to) do. Check-in at the GLA counter required the manager of the check-in agent to be called but was painless after that! Best of luck!

Indeed there is a ticket number, and that number is showing for the outbound flight on the app, but the return (which was upgraded) lacks a ticket number.

So I POUG'd an LHR-SAN sector for December. £339. I think this is the fare difference. I'm OK with it, I could probably have done better at the airport but I didn't want to risk sitting at the back having had to pay for an extra bag anyway.

Work pays for my Euro Traveller ticket so this was a nice way to get in the lounge and skip security out of my own pocket. I won’t be silver until mid-October so it’s a little treat for me. Works out at about £1.62/TP, if my maths is correct.

POUG question - I have a booking LHR-WAW 26th Aug BA878, and I've been offered CE for £99, however my friends (a couple) who actually want to upgrade don't have it on the app. I'm silver, they don't have status. Is there any way to force the POUG? I'm guesting my other half into the lounge and some other friends (travelling in CE) will be in there too, so our friends in euro traveller want to upgrade.

They should join BAEC if they haven't done so already, even as a Blue it will help. But no, the offfer is not transferable nor can be forced over to other passengers.

Yes, you can get POUGs on Avios bookings, though it's unlikely to be good value. They can change their booking to CE if availability shows up. And yes they can upgrade with cash at the airport for an AUP, but again a redemption amendment is likely to be better value.

£130 each way for LHR FCO for a weekend end of October. I'll keep an eye on it but I'm not a buyer at that price.
