City Break recommendations from Terminal 3
I may possibly have some odd free weekdays in June, and was thinking of going away somewhere for a short city break.
I was thinking about booking RFS, and then book accomodation using points(IHG/Radisson/Hilton), so I could cancel them, if things change in June.
Since I'm unlikely to re-qualify for Gold next year, and hardly ever fly from terminal 3, I was specifically looking at T3 departures.
It seems that there is plenty of RFS availability in June to many T3 destinations.
I have already been enough times to WAW and PRG, and going to BCN later in the year, so will give these 3 a miss.
Most likely I will end up going to VIE, BUD, or LIS, but was wondering if there are any
other shorthaul T3 destinations that you would recommend in Summer?
I guess weather should be pretty much guaranteed everywhere in Europe at this time of year.

Hi,
How about HEL?- very long periods of sunlight at this time of year ( and maybe get a Finnair A330 or A350 in business)
Regards

Lots of good suggestions here.
BUD is already on your probable list I see, and I’m going to give it a big plug, having just been (my first time) : favourable flight timings both ways, excellent range of cultural attractions, a mostly ‘walkable’ city (to main sights at least), friendly, relaxed atmosphere ; and quality food & drink offering good value.

I second Helsinki. It's lovely in the summer. Take the ferry out to Suomenlinna and picnic on among the fortifications or go and walk around the rural life museum and houses on the island of Seurasaari. Both are accessible by public transport (ferry and bus respectively).

I’d also recommend Helsinki. Lovely city, and lots to do for a weekend.
If you’re looking for a nice hotel, check out availability at Hotel F6 - it’s very nice.
