Hope this means plenty of ex-INV fares. They appear to be lacking lately.

Just had an email to say our 1045 flight LHR-INV has been changed to 1630. As our HKG-LHR flight arrives at 0500 and being in F..... 11 hours in the Concorde Room???

As folk said good for the ex-INV fares. I remember the days when BA kept pulling INV-LHR flights due to lack of business back in the 80s/90s.

My flight on 17th May has changed from 12:45 dep to:
07:05 INV 08:35 LHR

This appears to have left me with a lovely 8 hour layover for my flight to JFK... :-(

With a change that substantial, I would call and see if they can move you to an earlier JFK flight.

Positive and negative in one sweep I'd say. Lose the morning departure to Inverness during the week but now have 2 in the evening?

It seems timed to business travel and those returning from a trip to London/further afield.

Not so good for those of us who have reasons for business travel to Inverness which I've had a fair few of recently. Although I'm probably somewhat in the minority for that!

Nice expansion of the route, with double daily during the week and triple at the weekend. Also great for the crew to be night stopping there.

My last time in INV was back when Loganair had a full free bar (with full sized bottles!) on the hop from EDI.

I had a schedule change for August. From 1245 to 0705. Quick call to GGL line and we were switched to NCL. Saves the long journey north. This was a reward booking connecting in F to MIA the next day. Very happy with the outcome as only going from INV as was saving over £600 in APD for the 4 of us.

In the same boat here for our 21 June flight when BA1469 was cancelled today. A long 6.5 hour layover at LHR to MSY now. No other non-stop option, so I guess we'll be hanging out in one of the lounges for a few hours.

For those with long layovers on a Friday, if you can delay your trip by a day, the Sat AM LHR:INV flight connects to both the HKG and a number of JFKs, maybe worth a call!
