I agree. Unfortunately 3-5-3 offers no such benefit and indeed combines the disadvantages of 2-5-2 and 3-3-3

I am completely perplexed...
Is this some sort of an elaborate joke?
A new First Suite and a completely redesigned CW would be nice though

If you're willing to forget the fact that CPT can't handle the 380, Airbus hasn't even designed a 380-900, the rather incongruous decision of having a cabin config already decided when the plane hasn't even been designed or, lastly, the fact that - after the experience with the GE90 77E - BA has tattooed on our foreheads the words "THOU SHALT NOT BE A LAUNCH CUSTOMER ANYMORE".... It's almost believable.

I’ve heard it will be piloted by pigs. Airbus (Leahy especially before he left) has repeatedly said while they’d consider a NEO there is not sufficient market demand for one. To substantiate this you’d have to find an engine manufacturer developing an engine in this thrust range which is going to be available in the next decade. Good luck.

It’s rumoured that BA will be the launch customer for the new super VLA A380-900neo aircraft for its highest demand premium routes for the cash richest time poorest. The aircraft will feature a new travel class known as First Plus with a fully enclosed suite. They’ll be only 8 per aircraft with the 2 centre suites having convertible partitions to form a double suite.
New First and CW will also feature and narrow seat economy will be 3-5-3 on the main deck.

Lol, did you read what you wrote?
What is ‘cash richest time poorest’?

The A380neo has not been launched and won’t be with a tiny BA order. Not happening unless Emirates want it.
Cape Town presently can’t handle the A380.
There is no first plus - BA needs to fully roll out an improved Club World First.
sounds more like someone is pulling your leg than ‘rumour’.
Up next - BA goes for fully flat club Europe on 797s? Or, the old chestnut that Concorde will be bought back - maybe for the high yield Bangkok route?
