Hi,

There is no buddy seat on the 789 as the space is occupied by the TV

If you are in 2A 2K and need to talk one of you will need to walk through the galley at the front to the other side of the cabin

It’s just crew favour the left hand aisle when visiting the flight deck or First cabin, there is no good reason for it.
