Points on group bookings
I am on a group booking is there any way to acquire avios/tier points on mine or even the whole share of the booking?
I should also point out I didn’t make the booking.
Thanks.

If it was a travel trade special fare (e.g. via Cunard) you are unlikely to get TPs/Avios, though even there mistakes can happen. If it is a group which has simply booked via BA's own Group Booking team then assuming it goes into a conventional fare basis there should be TPs and Avios.

Points go to individual BAEC accounts (if held). I know because I would be GGL for life if I had got all the TP for the family holidays I have booked and paid for😭

So as long as the booking is done via BA.com I can get my percentage cut of the overall booking?
If so, can I just get this added by going on to the "Claim missing Avios" tool?

I think this may be a case where if you could be more specific then you'll get more tailored advice. But no, Group Bookings are emphatically not done online, there is a maxima on BA.com of 9 seats. Group Bookings give a mechanism for administering a large group (allowing for name changes and so on) but that involves working with the Group Booking office, a very small team of specialists in this area. It's usually done by phone and email. If you are on this sort of group booking - and indeed more generally - just ensure your BAEC number is on any booking and usually it all works automatically. If it doesn't then yes Claim missing Avios is the place to go, but on BA metal it rarely happens if you have your BAEC number in place and travel as planned.

Depends on the booking class of your ticket. A friend of mine had some jobs booked in South America by his company TA as group bookings and they were so cheap that they earnt no avios and no TPs. He was mightily unimpressed! travelling in economy for 10+ hours each way and earns no points.

As far as the "whole share of the booking" is concerned, I can't think of any FFP that allows an individual to collect the avios and TP of all traveling passenger on the booking. Otherwise, there would be quite a few more top tier FF around here. BA is among the few programs that has a work around and allows you to have a household account with those living in your household, thus making it easier to get award tickets. That can be quite useful for families.

Actually BA moved to Lime Management years ago (https://www.lime-management.com/) and they have an online portal within which group requests can be booked.
[pedant alert] Actually, G means 'restricted'. It's used for several categories of booking, the only linking factor being that none is available direct to the general public.
