Seen so far: Product - Extra £200m to be invested in Club World (£600m in total) - Lounges in 2018 (include): JFK, Rome & Aberdeen - "Improved catering in every cabin" - whether that means no more snack basket in Economy. "New" long-haul catering starts January 2018 "greater quantity and improved quality....new and better snacks." Fleet - Heathrow B747 refurbishment starts 2018 (?) - > Anyone know more about what is going on here? - B767s gone by 2017 and 10 A320NEOs 3 A321NEOs in 2018 - Page 17 and 120 linked. It appears BA will get 3 more B777-300s based on the document -replacing three B777-200s (I initially thought it was a mistake because there is no mention in the IAG fleet plan) - By 2020, there will be 2 more B787s at BA (compared to previous 2020 plan last year) Technology - Auto-boarding for international flights to be rolled out More to follow... |

That might be the logical view but my heart will miss those beautiful aircraft.
So much about many of these aircraft is now tired - the cabins, the IFE, the seating, and especially the passengers who were not fortunate enough to be on the upper deck that just got off one after a 10 hour flight. |
