It's Qatar Airways, one of the better business class experiences, and less than a fifth of your budget even including positioning, generating 6/7ths of your target TP.
Obviously you don't have to stay in Shanghai, you can use the deal to bookend a trip to the West coast of the US (maybe via Tokyo or Hawaii) for a couple more grand and you still have enough for a nice tour of the US. China visa is an issue maybe if you want to go quickly, but you can get those on a relative fast track.
