Unexpected increase in Avios balance

Hi,

My Avios balance increased by 15,000 overnight. I have not flown BA (I credit too AA), not made any web purchase, not transferred.

Is there a way to see the Avios activity between a time period?
AA Advantage has that functionality.

Has anyone seen a similar unexpected increase?

Thanks team

[no I am not complaining, and I do not intend on contacting BA]

Log into your account and scroll to the bottom. After the Avios summary you will see a tab named see all transactions. Click there and you will be presented with further options.

If it's exactly 15,000 I doubt it's from flights. An historic promotion perhaps?

I transfered 15000 SPG points to BA late August. They were posted as expected on Sep 1st.
The same amount (15,000) from 'Hotels' shows in my Avios balance on Sep 12th.

Sounds like you have been given , by error , another 15,000 avios ! If only my SPG transfer to BA exec would come through

(update points received ! )

Last month we flew to Denver travelling out in Second and back in First. Since we booked a hire car as well, BA treated the whole thing as a holiday booking. Got all the points I was expected but also 11,156 described as "Miscellaneous - British Airways Holidays" as well as the 885 for the Avis booking. No idea what it was for but I am jolly grateful and will not increase the BA workload by asking!

If you book a BA Holiday you also get 2 Avios per £ (soon reducing to 1 Avios per £) once the holiday is complete. Am I right in guessing that your holiday cost £5,578?

Did you by chance spend around £5578 on the holiday.

You get 2 Avios per £1 spent on BA holidays at the moment, but that is sadly about to drop to 1 Avios per £1
