How Can We Get Fast Track At LHR?
Mrs Mikey and I will be flying through LHR when we return from LAS to EDI. That means switching from T3 to T5 and any other time we've done it the queues have been a PITA.
We booked using Avios and we're flying economy. We'd even pay extra for it as long as it's not too expensive!
Thanks.

What particular point of your connection do you want fast track?
There is no fast track airside bus, no fast track for immigration for INT-DOM, and no fast track for the border if you prefer to go landside at T5 instead.

You'll need status with Oneworld (Sapphire or Emerald), or be travelling in a Premium class. It isn't possible to purchase access to Fast Track at LHR (regardless of whether you're originating or connecting).
If you don't already have this you could consider an AA Status Challenge... but it's expensive if you want immediate status ($500), and frankly certainly wouldn't be good value for a single trip.

I've got a GGL silver partner card going spare. Happy to consider bids.
[I'm joking, before someone comes along to tell me it's against the rules/T&Cs]
But seriously, no you can't pay although IME the queues haven't been too bad going through.

Going landside through UKBF or airside through security?

If doing INT-DOM/DUB there is no fast track channel to the immigration desk, bu there is fast track beyond that which routes up to north security.
If you want to connect going landside and you are a UK/EEA passport holder then there is no fast track channel at the UK border. When you enter security from landside there is a fast track channel at north and south security you can use.
