Concorde Rooms and Dining: JFK, BOS, IAD food and drink - 2017 to date thread
JFK T7 Concorde Room - open to First and CCR cardholders
IAD Concorde Dining Room - open to First and CCR cardholders PHL / BOS First lounge - pre flight supper - First passengers only on the relevant First evening flights. Here is the current menu (2 January 2017), by all means let us know of any corrections by posting below (or via PM). Starters - Chestnut and celeriac velouté with caramelised apple. - Seared George's Bank scallops, aubergine coulis, harissa, baby greens. Salad - Baby kale salad, roasted Lancaster Farms' butternut squash, Applewood bacon lardons, Coach Farm's goat cheese with maple-rosemary vinaigrette. Main courses - Grass fed filet mignon, with mustart and herb crust, truffle potato gratin, roasted baby vegetables and jus. - Pan seared Long Island duck breast, with white bean purée, Brussels sprouts, roasted seckle pear and fig jus. - Seafood bouillabaisse: shrimp, cockles, sea bass, samphire and rouille - Butternut squash risotto, with black trumpet mushrooms, shaved Parmesan and basil Dessert - White chocolate marquise, with egg nog ice cream, berries and mint. Cheese Featuring Point Reyes creamery blue, with spiced plum chutney. == Cocktails (I imagine there are some alcoholic ones too, but here are your Prohibition ones): - Virgin Mary - Bloody Mary sans vodka - Rock Shandy - Ginger ale, Angostura bitters, lemon and soda - Concorde Room Infusion - a sparkling infusion of mint, ginger and citrus to refresh the palette. |

This is a great thread. Sadly it won't apply to me too often! You mention BOS pre-flight dinner. What's the deal for breakfast ahead of the day flight? I seem to remember reading that the JFK CCR is not at its best then and as Boston just has an F lounge and like JFK just the one early flight, my expectations are suitably managed!

Current JFK CCR alcohol comprising cocktails:
Champagne cocktail - The classic blend of Champagne, brandy and bitters. Kir Royale - Champagne gently sweetened with Cassis. Martini- The classic: gin with a hint of vermouth, served shaken or stirred. Cuba Libre - White rum with your choice of coke or diet coke. Mojito - Mint, lime and sugar gently muddled then topped with rum and soda. Margarita - Tequila, triple sec and lime juice. A taste of South America. Cosmopolitan - Very Sex in the City - vodka mixed with Cointreau and cranberry. Bloody Mary - Classic mix of tomato juice, vodka and a little added kick, as you like it. Mint Julep - A taste of the deep south. Bourbon, mint and sugar. Whisky Sour - Bourbon and lemon juice shaken with a hint of sugar. Manhattan - Bourbon, sweet vermouth and cherry served straight up. |
Some photos of JFK CCR dishes in January, thanks to nufnuf77 for helping. We actually had the filet mignon as well but somehow in my alcohol and sleep addled mind I forgot to take a photo.

Presumably the menus are printed the same at each. IAD featured wine pairings per dish.

Recently had the scallops, the kale salad and the bouillabaisse in the BOS lounge. Really enjoyed them all. Even enjoyed the eggplant and I hate eggplant.
