I often keep them on when arriving off an overnight longhaul into LHR. If I'm jumping in a cab straight home, I am beyond the point of caring.

Oh, also the BA16-12 transit in SIN.

Very liberating to breeze through the airport in such comfort.

At some stage the crew are going to pull you up on that.

You sometimes see Aussies wearing QF PJs to the beaches down under.

Yes you do.

QF has both F and J PJs. The F PJs are similar to the BA ones.

However the J PJs have less material and short sleeves and can actually be used as a running top, or even as a fairly normal T short, hence you see guys wearing the J class PJ top as a jogging top.

They're actually pretty comfy too, nice material, and are comfy for wearing to bed particularly in Australia where it can be hotter and the light PJ top is comfy in the warmer weather.

I do that as well, arrival in the morning to LHR, through passport and get changed after shower in arrivals lounge. Could not care less what anybody is thinking about what I wear. (Though what Karfa wears and the breeze....)

The first pair I washed at home and they were then only suitable for the tallest player in the USA basketball team! Dunno how anyone can use them a second time?

Depends on the crew

Had one crew member verging on the inappropriate once...highly embarrassing given partner was sat nearby.

As for the pjs, at least we can tell they are BA ones. Sure there must be a cost saving by enhancing the embroidered logo...

I have no idea why anyone would wear these rags outside of the metal tube that they receive them

Do people not have any decent clothing?

A thread similar to this one some years back mentioned that one FTer often saw a woman jogging in Hyde Park in F jimjams.

Exactly, sleeper suits should be left on the aircraft, they are cheap and scream look at me.

I once had to wear my pajama top in the public. It happened after my first flight in First. My luggage never got lost or stuck before so when flying from KUL to TXL via LHR I put my winter jacket in my checked luggage. Due to some strong winds the flight took one or two hours longer than usual and after barely making my connection I was left in Berlin in January with no warm clothes...I had two choices, freeze to death or wear the top in public, waiting for my bags at the airport was no option because I had to catch my train for the 4 hour onward journey to my hometown.Luckily I had a scarf in my purse so I was able to cover up the logo. My bags were delivered to my home a few days later.
A few weeks ago I saw lady wearing her pajamas in the Concorde Room...
