Cannot add new member to household account

Just trying to add my daughter to our household account. When trying to confirm the email it is linking to the 'sorry, systems not responding' page.

Anybody got a workaround or is it a case of try later? Wondering if it's not accepting her DoB which is today!

Want to add her soon as looking at flights for next summer that are coming available, possible reward booking.

Could just be a system error and nothing to do with the information you're trying to input. Try clearing your cookies -- I was getting a system error for every function on the BA website for the last few days, and clearing cookies fixed it.

Does she live at the same address as you? That might be the issue if there is a mis-match

She will do when she makes it home from the hospital.

Didn't need to give any address details when entering details.

If she will be travelling as a lap infant then you can make the booking now and add her on at a later stage.

And congratulations too

You have to admire the OPs priorities. Day 1, onto the household account. I love it.

Thanks guys.

In my defence I am still at the hospital with access to my phone but cannot make calls or post on Facebook etc. It's going to be a busy few days so thought I would get in early... Gives me something to do for now.

Update. It allowed me to confirm her account via email a little later. However, there is a new problem... I cannot get her profile up to 100% as its asking for passport details which clearly I don't have yet. Now where's that passport application form?

Now for meal preference there is no option for 'milk only' or seat preference allowing for 'on a lap'. Anybody would think BA systems would be designed to cope with such requests!

I could see a meal preference of "Breasts Only" getting hilariously abused
