Because you've seen them doesn't mean that is what will happen. There have been various options produced and it's well known that the initial intent was to have First on these aircraft, however this was changed when the initial seats designed for CW were rejected by Alex and decision made to look for another solution. BA has openly indicated what is intended for new aircraft - A350 - 3 class, 787-10 4 class and now 777-9 4 class.

If as you claim, the decision is still open, then it is clear that at this time, the only confirmed config is for 3 class. In addition, by even sharing that there is a plan that has not been made public, then you are breaching the NDA we are bound by if you are a BA employee with that level of access.

While BA has previously (and as recently as November 2018) said that the A350s would not have First [see https://www.ausbt.com.au/british-air...350-1000-jets], I would note that the specific quote given was "At the moment all 18 A350s we have on order will be three class."
The operative phrase here is "at the moment", which might simply be a BA spinner wisely parsing their words but could well indicate a Plan B, or rather 'Plan F', for a later tranche of A350 deliveries, so this could go either way. For now, all we can do is take what's been said as the latest official word.

Because the route flown by a lot of 747s and they'll be retired in 2023, ie before full roll-out of the new seat, so I doubt that they'll be retro-fitted. The first batch of A350s doesn't have First, so they won't be flown on that route either.
Unless there's something I'm missing (plan to fly only 777s, or 787s, and move the 747s to other destinations?)

that being said I’ll refer back to a previous post.
To “know” what you claim you “know” would mean you are in breach of your contract, an NDA, or daddy needs to stop opening up so much over dinner.

It'll be a relief when the new CW seat is finally released to a waiting world. Then we can get down to the serious business of discussing just how awful it is. Or not.

And what odds would you offer on BAEC FT consensus being that it's awful, even if it's actually exactly the same seat as fitted by other airlines?
