I paid for a BA biz class ticket last year (October 2014) and completed the outbound journey in Dec.
My return is scheduled for 21 May but I would like to move this to next January.
Does anyone know if it possible to get around the rule against moving flights to over a year from the date they were booked?

Well once an outbound journey of the booking has started you MUST complete all your journey by 364 days after you first segment. This means you have to finish all journeys within your booking by 20 May. Originally Posted by Niomi

am sure other FTers will confirm that.
From the conditions of carriage:
Quote:
3b) Ticket validity period
3b1) Unless it says differently on the ticket, in these conditions of carriage, or in any tariffs which apply, a ticket is valid for travel for:
one year from the date it is issued or
one year from the date you first travelled using the ticket, as long as your first flight took place within a year of the ticket being issued.

No; well at least, not that this forum has heard. Originally Posted by Niomi

In fairness a year is more than enough time to use a ticket.
