bulkhead seating on 747

My husband and I have booked to travel in WT from LHR-MEL with our twins, I was wondering which seats have better legroom, 40E/40F, or 28E/28F? (this is the 299 seat layout) Thanks in advance

Hi k4kitty, and welcome to FlyerTalk.

There are two threads on this that will probably contain the information you need:

The font of all BA knowledge, The Sticky: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...ad-sticky.html

... which will link to your specific query about WT: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...traveller.html (you're more likely to get an informed response if you ask the question here).

It's been a while since I travelled in those two rows so I'm afraid I can't offer anything from experience. However, in the 299 seat layout row 28 in WT+, so it's probably the 345 seat config you're on. If so, row 28 is an emergency exit row so probably has more legroom, but you may have to pay to choose a seat there if you don't have status with BA or a OneWorld airline and want to reserve it before check-in opens.
