The BA Board Trip Report of 2011 Competition
Let's rewind to January 2011 and recapture the moments where the hopes, the tension, and finally rapturous applause filled the room as matthandy was pronounced The BA Board Moët Laureate for his triumphant report which related a hectic last minute business trip to Mumbai.
So following the success of last year's competition, I delighted to announce the BA Board Trip Report of 2011 competition. LTN Phobia, Petrus and I will be the judges. Should one of our reports be nominated, a special guest judge will be pressganged into joining us. There are just a few simple rules
And what of the prize? Let's face it, writing a TR is a great way to get some love from the FT community. So, the winner will earn the right to bear the exclusive "I won the BA Board Trip Report of the Year competition" signature for an entire year. So, off with your nominations please! PS If you are unhappy with or have a suggestion relating to the rules, please PM me PPS Bungs are welcome in used mid-denomination USD, Euro, SEK or GBP notes. Please leave at the CCR reception desk in a briefcase PPPS That was a joke! |
BBB's http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...bos-lhr-j.html TR definitely gets my nomination ^
Fabulous report, brilliant pictures, and all-in-all makes me want to go back to New England and in particular Boston :D |
Was it that long ago?
So many to choose from. Are we allowed to nominate more than one? |
Please nominate as many as you wish. Remember to include a few words explaining your reasons for nominating the report
|
One more question: Do I have to give up my title? :(
|
Your title was well earned. We wouldn't dream of taking it away from you :)
|
How exciting! May I remind you all that in a former life I was a [REDACTED], and that due to my association with [REDACTED], I know where you all live ;)
I will peruse those reports I haven't yet read, and provide some nomination(s) shortly... |
I have 2 nominations. The first is Hiddy's here
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...u-lhr-yvr.html Hiddy would be the sort of person I'd like to sit next to on a long-haul. We could drink, have a laugh and be politically incorrect the whole flamin way ;) The second is this piece of brilliance. From matthandy... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...d-bangkok.html Simply amazing detail, great photography, a wonderful story and sounded like a terrific adventure. And an honourable mention to anything ever written by Seat2a. The man is a genius... Edited: Ok, I finally regained my senses and sobered up and nominated correctly this time... |

I've been waiting for this competition to open, so that I could nominate the following TR......
matthandy for http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...d-bangkok.html To my mind this TR surpasses everything I've ever read on FT, or indeed any other travel related forum ^ |
