If you can't get anywhere with them I wouldn't definitely try here: https://www.aviationadr.org.uk/

Is the restart delayed?

The restart was announced as from 31 March 25. However, all flights in the first week now look to be zeroed out, with only one rotation available in the second week. That rotation is the awful BA404 overnight outbound and early morning return.

Does anyone have any info on this? The call centre is useless on this.

Yes, the re-start has been delayed, and I've put a comment about this is the other TLV thread. The reality is that a ceasefire is needed, and to be bedded in, before BA will resume services. I doubt it will be before Passover, but at least the chances of a ceasefire - at the time of writing - look to be the best they have been for a while. As noted elsewhere, Syrian airspace is also opening up, with services to Damascus, but it's a slow process.

What is the latest on the TLV route? Are we expecting wide bodied aircraft anytime soon?

So, today is the day. LHR-TLV restarts tonight, departing T5 at 21:15, operated by the A321neo G-TNEB.

At likely the worst-timed flight in the shorthaul network - up there with Tbilisi.

Are BA overnighting crew? If so, this would be so much more palpable departing a few hours earlier (similar to AMM and CAI).

... and with the route downgraded to CE from having been CW that also means no sleep at all to make it even worse.

During the 90s we could opt out of flying to Belfast, because of the conflict there, If you were a BFS volunteer you got rostered the flights, and if you werent, you didnt. As far as Im aware there is nothing official in place for the TLV route, however crew that were sufficiently unhappy or upset about it during the 6 months re-introduction last summer, were removed from the flight. Strangely, for this month , it was one of the most highly requested routes in our bid package

With Virgin now permanently suspending flights to TLV, wonder whether BA would be interested in upping its game. I think
not.
