Is the restart delayed?

The restart was announced as from 31 March 25. However, all flights in the first week now look to be zeroed out, with only one rotation available in the second week. That rotation is the awful BA404 overnight outbound and early morning return.

Does anyone have any info on this? The call centre is useless on this.

What is the latest on the TLV route? Are we expecting wide bodied aircraft anytime soon?

So, today is the day. LHR-TLV restarts tonight, departing T5 at 21:15, operated by the A321neo G-TNEB.

At likely the worst-timed flight in the shorthaul network - up there with Tbilisi.

Are BA overnighting crew? If so, this would be so much more palpable departing a few hours earlier (similar to AMM and CAI).

During the ‘90’s we could opt out of flying to Belfast, because of the conflict there, If you were a “BFS volunteer” you got rostered the flights, and if you weren’t, you didn’t. As far as I’m aware there is nothing official in place for the TLV route, however crew that were sufficiently unhappy or upset about it during the 6 months re-introduction last summer, were removed from the flight. Strangely, for this month , it was one of the most highly requested routes in our bid package…
