DAR-NBO-ZRH (LX293) OK for 2xC on 21,22,23 June - nothing earlier

I've just cancelled a business redemption LAX-AKL-BNE on the 7th of march if anyone is after a last minute award trip. Should be up for grabs again.

Hi, could anyone help me availability for availability on LX for 2x F or C seats on 29/30 Aug on both ORD-LHR and LAX-LHR?

LX41 LAX-ZRH: 1F and 2C on 29 Aug; just 1C on 30 Aug.

ZRH to LHR on 30 and 31 August: wide open, pick your flight.

Hi, could someone help me check for availability on LX for 2x C seats on 22 April. JFK / ZRH and 23 April ZRH / DUB

I have a redemption booking with LH via FRA and at the time of booking last December there was only economy availibility on LX, but maybe a couple of C seats have opened up

would i be correct in thinking that this would require 62,500 miles plus cash for 2 pax?

also ,is there any way of making sure that we would be sitting together for this or any other flight while booking through the ICC or do you have to wait until closer the departure date and book them through the airline?

Assuming you're talking one way, it would be 37,500 & £210 for C or 62,500 & £350 for F.

Award seats on the LAX route tend to disappear fast and LX rarely (if ever) opens up more availability.

With SFO, has anyone actually seen any award seats on this new route yet?

It may be that once they make some/more seats available to SFO, the demand for LAX will reduce somewhat.

In Y, yes. No sign of anything in premium cabins though. I assume they're assessing demand on the new route before deciding how generous to be with C and F availability. It would be nice to have SFO as an option since it would open up more availability to the West Coast without having to schlep from ORD or somewhere in Y.

MEL to BHX options

I have two options for business class travel between MEL and BHX on Feb 17th.

I currently have the following itinerary booked:

MEL To BKK Wednesday, 17 February 2010
departing: 16:00 terminal 2 arriving: 21:10
flight no: TG466 fare basis: IBP00TG

BKK To Frankfurt Wednesday, 17 February 2010
departing: 23:55 arriving: 05:35 terminal 1
flight no: LH783 fare basis: IBP00TG

Frankfurt To Birmingham Intl Thursday, 18 February 2010
departing: 08:25 terminal 1 arriving: 09:00 terminal 1
flight no: CL4900 fare basis: IBP00TG


I have not flown LH business before and reviews don't seem hugely positive. TG business seems mixed.

The other option is to to fly SQ MEL-SIN-COPENHAGEN-BHX with similar flight times but with the downside that MEL-SIN is only available in Economy (although on A380).I know and like SQ business and economy.

We are traveling with an infant.

Would anyone be able to offer advice as to which would be the more relaxed and comfortable option?
