Never mind bonus miles, I've not had my usual MBNA miles posted yet. The latest it has ever been is the 8th. Postal Strike????, surely not.

Mine always post on the same day as my statement is issued. Have you already had your statement for the month?

Mine posted about 8 days late this month. However, my MBNA statement online was in line with this, with the September summary being run a week later than usual.

Mine posted yesterday, on time.

Strictly speaking the double miles are only for bmi.com bookings - so if you book via the call centre you shouldn't get the miles. However in the past (when things were still working ok) I did get double miles for those bookings as well :)

In response to the above (and to my initial query) I've noticed that on the bmi website it does say:

"miles awarded per £1 spend for purchasing bmi flights at flybmi.com..."

and on the MBNA application site it says
"Double destinations miles when you use your bmi Classic MasterCard to buy a bmi flight at flybmi.com"

so guess strictly you shouldn't get miles on call centre bookings then

not the paper one, but it is online. I am relying on the activity section of the website since I've redeemed a lot of miles and am not sure of the balance, but it says no activity and has done since the new website went live

I've just got my new MBNA statement (online) and despite writing to them with the full details of my bookings 2 weeks ago, once again, this month, I didn't get neither the previous bonus points nor the bonus points for this month! I am going to try the phone route now...

update: have just called the Customer Service and I'm sure the guy I talked to never heard of BMI bonus miles! Well, he put a note on my account and I'm supposed to call them back next week

I was told that the offer was only in June / July / August -- is this true ?

No that is NOT true.
This is not a one-off promotion or competition being referred to, but rather a published benefit of using the MBNA BMI Mastercard. It should be enforced all the time.

My bonus miles are still missing from my account. I've figured the best thing to do is just mark all the flights on my card statements, and then write them a big moany letter as soon as someone here gets it fixed. I've got another frustrating "rage against the system" battle going on with LH M&M, and I can't cope with the thought of dealing with two sets of boneheaded systems at once.

Miles for a booking made on flybmi.com didn't show up on my statement and not yet credited to the BD account. How long is it supposed to take?

It's statement day for me too : previous problems still not corrected, plus two new instances of same fault. :(

ANA tool and flybmi/MBNA miles problem

Hi folks,

You might remember that I started the flybmi/MBNA double miles threat a while ago. Since it has disappeared off the topics list, I wonder if anybody got an answer from MBNA or DC on whether these missing miles will ever be credited?

Secondly, I cannot find the ANA seat availability tool anymore. I can only get the Domestic/International one with departures from Japan. Anybody having the working link?

Thanks

Threads now merged - crazychicken, if you post to the thread again, it rises back up the topic list!

Hi,

I did send a letter to MBNA customer service with all my flights details (on Oct 5th), but since I got no obvious reply (although received an aknowledgment much later), I called them ( I think on Oct29th). I spoke to a nice lady who asked me once again all the flights details. A few days later (Nov1st), my mssing miles were posted on the BMI website and they even called me back to confirm.
hope this help

Philippe
