So I personally ended up arriving only 30 mins late. Must re-emphasise, the staff in DC lounge were superb, telling us the truth about the probs (BD computers). They were getting all sorts of abuse off delayed pax who were 'assuming' they could use the lounge as they were delayed - calling of security had to be threatened with one plummy lady who refused to accept she'd only paid £11 for her ticket, had not status, and therefore was not allowed to sit in the lounge drinking free Gin! Staff said they didn't exepct to leave until after midnight. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif Staff on flight not as open - advised all pax that delays were due to complete system failure at LHR affecting all airlines. They should not have lied about this.
