sometimes it takes an absolute age to bring up the "Select your flights" page, and other times it is up v quickly.
I have had this problem off and on over the past few months, and to be honest, if it wasnt for the double miles booking the flights there I wouldnt go near it.
I find it very irritating in the ages of broadband and lightning quick servers that I have to *wait* on for a page such as that. that may sound impatient, and arrogant, but its not meant to be. i work in IT and if the server is the problem bin it and get a new one, if the coding is the problem after the new site release, take stock of your programmers, or if it was outsourced, ask a lot of questions.
Its not a case of saying "oh no one would just go somewhere else because the website is slow", because that is a fact, I for one would be.
having said all that the new site is asthetically pleasing

It would be interesting to see the actual downtime of the website.
Maybe I just seem to attempt a login at the "wrong" time

Any one else having problems getting a seat allocation during a booking?
When I pull up the seat map I get a Java error, and the only way to complete the booking is not to have seats allocated.
Thats ok, except for the 10 minutes (and counting) holding for the gold card line.
Thanks.
