Didn't get the enrollment miles
I just signed up my sister for BMI DC to get the 1000 enrollment miles (to transfer to our family BAEC account), and she didn't get the miles (I used the link on their webpage to get the 1000 miles).
PS the card still has the *A symbol....

Just seen your location, and indeed it still has the bonus listed on the US site
I think BA/bmi have probably forgotten they have a US version of flybmi.com

Take a screenshot of the page in case they change it, email the social media team:
open [at] flybmi [dot] com
Make it clear that you're using the US version of the site and that there's a 1000 enrolment advertised when you signed up.
Please note, it's usually a good idea to earn a few miles in order to trigger and enrolment bonuses. Use flybmi online shopping and spend a few dollars.
The social media team seem good at passing things to the right people within bmi and they know better than we do which departments actually still exist.

Enrolment bonus miles are non-transferable in the Diamond Club family membership scheme. If you get them, you'll see that clearly.
Can stuff be transferred within BA's scheme?

You can set up a household account on BA. All of the members living at the same address can be on the account. Any of the household members can use the miles in the combined account. This also allows children under 18 to earn BA miles.

The BA family memberships work differently and I was quite surprised how they did work.
Rather than being able to transfer avios between members in the scheme any transactions in the family account deduct from all members, the percentage deducted from each member depends on their total number of miles so the one with the most miles ends up paying the most for the redemption even if the person redeeming has enough miles to cover it themselves.

For all does wondering about the transfer i'm planning, we are all going to transfer out BMI miles to our BAEC account (same name), which our BAEC are pooled together in a household account.

Should do, they're still promoting the address on twitter. Make sure you've removed any spaces and change [at] to @ and [dot] to a dot. We just write the emails in this obscure form on this forum in an attempt to reduce the amount of spam they receive.

I'm still surprised that it didn't work. I just sent a test message from gmail and it didn't bounce. Perhaps there was an issue with their mail server earlier and descending might do the trick?

Should I try again?
Does BMI have a rep here on FlyerTalk?
