You need to READ the rest of the thread.
This code is talked about on virtually EVERY page, INCLUDING THE ONE YOU POSTED ON.

Does this voucher have a code that needs to be input at time of reservation?

You should expect some trouble, no car for that rate and a much higher for another car. Maybe they will deny any rental at all.

Yes, the ones I used have a code, but you do need the voucher as well. :)

Mike,
I tried this code. For me it gave lousy rates on every try. Who's is it, and where does it come from? Almost every one of the good codes on the list that are "useable" (not employee, Chairman, etc) give a better rate and better benefits than this dog. What's up with it? Is it your company code? Please share with us everything you know about this code instead of posting it like a "fire-sale" ad with 10 exclamation points.

One way rental discounts?

Does anyone know of any discount code or coupon that can either wave or reduce the drop off/one way rental fees with Avis? Or maybe you can suggest another company that with no/lesser one way fees?

I need a rental for something like 12 hours from Montreal (YUL) to Toronto (YYZ). Thanks.

Max

Everyone Listen Up..........

Bottom line, the next best code to use next to B999000 (Which can cause you a problem) is A153710. I have used this code several time with no problems at all. It beats the so called "bargain" prices that you can get from Priceline.com or Hotwire.com.

Take my word for it!

I'd rather not, considering it's your first post.

Would you care to explain where the code is FROM?

bowlernme Oct 11, 2005 1:40 pm

Look, I know it's my first post -

I do a fair share of traveling during the year. If you study this board enough, you will figure out of where this code came from.

Once again, used several times, no problems what so ever.

Do a sample booking and see for yourself!

Considering A153700 is an Avis Employee Discount code, I think A153710 is just another variation of the employee discount code.
Both codes generate the same rate.

Yes, I need a code that works for a OW 1 day rental from Pittsburgh to DC. It's only a 5 hour drive. Most of the discount codes I tried charge 30 cents or more per mile.

Seek and ye shall find.......................

Nitro187 Oct 11, 2005 7:09 pm

I tried using the code - A153710.....

I got the rate of $71.68 USD for two days after taxes, which is really great.... but do I have to do something special when I go in with my printout of the avis.com page and that code?

Do I have to show some kind of ID, or just 'say' I'm from a certain company?
