For the Delta Skymiles and/or AA discount codes you posted, will I need to show a freq flyer membership card or something? I haven't carried a membership card in years except for when I have elite status, so I wouldn't have the foggiest clue where I'd find mine.

It'll only save me a whole 2.5% on my rental over my corporate rate, so I guess I don't care either way, but its always nice to save $3.

peace,
~Ben~

That code is nothing but trouble. It's constantly mentioned on here and I have yet to read anyone who has ever gotten those rates. Tons of stories of people who got denied though.

MartinElk, thanks for keeping track of these ^

Appropriate Use of Avis Codes Yielded Best Rate

FWIW, this is slightly off-topic from the other posts in this thread regarding AVIS codes but I thought I'd mention it just the same. We used legitimate sources for AVIS discount codes through 3 different organizations we are associated with. It was interesting how each code's rate improved from the prior code. For those who possess more than one AVIS discount code, each discount has a different value. Check each code against your travel itinerary and car class to be sure the code is still redeemable (not expired) and compare rates with any other discount code(s) you may have.

Has anyone had any problems using the Avis Employee Discount code in the Caribbean? Will I get asked for my employee ID??? (A153700)

Any idea what P400000 is, it also saves a substantial amount in the Caribbean?

Thanks!

more specifically-- Im going to Grenada. I also want to make sure I get an automatic car, it says so on Travelocity, but just want to make sure they exist.

Either that or a letter from your manager. Don't do it!

another code to try

I just tried B149870 in Hawaii in Jan/Feb. Lowest rate I've seen so far for a full size, 182 plus tax. Does as well as Costco for a convertible but it's still 282 plus tax.

This code is from Endless Vacation magazine/RCI.

I have tried almost every code on this thread for a convertable in Oahu. This one was the cheapest by $50 giving me wed thru sat 4pm for $235.00
Thanks for the valuable info!

I seem to recall that this code is for a Tourism Association of some sort (I do not know if it is US based)

IME, and also according to MartinElk's useful post above, K860600 Starwood Preferred Guest works really well in Hawai'i.
