Thumbs up Avis Discount Code

If you are going to rent a mid or full size vehicle from Avis, give the reservationist or travel agent this Avis code, as it is good for anywhere from 5-40% off the "best" prices that Avis offers. There are very few promo prices from Avis that are better than this code. The use of this code is open to anyone, through 12/31/99.

It is the same # that ASAP posted on 7/1. You have to wonder the motivation to post the same item, on the same forum, by the same person, in the same week. Sounds abusive to me. Rudi, where is all this internal policing when we need it???

Sorry for the second posting, but being a new member to this board I didn't realize that when a posting disappeared after two days, it didn't mean that it was deleted. If it makes you feel better I won't bother to post it again, but a number of people have used it successfully and thought that it worked well.

Let's not get carried away in policing this board. There is nothing abusive in an honest mistake, especially when providing helpful information, that not only lets us (travelers) enjoy a discount, but also helps amateur athletes. A number of us on this board used extra 500 miles Sports Federation bonus, which is a part of the same Amateur Sports Assistance Program (ASAP) deal.

To clarify I think the AWD# is D002807.
The "D" was missing from previous post.

Good tip though!
