There seems to be a steady supply of threads querying why some or other airline can't be booked on LifeMiles. This isn't just newbies either (though they are unsurprisingly baffled that they can't book award seats that are freely available on other FFPs). The situation is fluid so that even LM regulars discover that something they used to book without problems suddenly becomes unavailable due to some change to the inscrutable inner workings of LM.
So I thought it might be a good idea to keep all the information in one place where all such queries can be directed, and information can be shared and kept up to date.
To start the ball rolling here is a list of what I have personally come up against:
Ideally I think we should make it a Wiki so that the current state of play is quickly accessible to anyone without reading numerous posts.

To start the ball rolling here is a list of what I have personally come up against:
- SA - South African Airways - no rewards available
- SK - Scandinavian Airlines - intra-Europe not bookable (haven't personally checked intercontinental but lack of availability has been reported)
- CA - Air China - no rewards available
- LH - Lufthansa - F only available within 2 weeks of departure (if at all)

SA J domestic and international seems to be back
CA F appears sporadically
TG F is back
SQ J regional (short haul international) is around
NZ is available

It may be a popular route. I see availability via Lifemiles. Are you looking far out or close in? Lifemiles availability does not always match other partners but there is not a hard block on the route.

NZ's available so long as NZ releases the ticket pool and that could be an issue (NZ seldom release any C class reward ticket apart from SYDAKL).

I managed to book one seat Bilbao - Frankfurt - Ord using lifemiles in F on LH, but cannot see any more availability, even though aeroplan, expert flyer and United all show another seat available. Dont want to waste 110,000 UR points when I have lifemiles sitting there.

Do LM not have access to LH Inventory for this route?

No *A inventory ex-AKL to Asia in November; seats show up on the Mileage Plus site (even SQ Business on the non-A380 flight). No TG at all ex AKL and they're usually the easiest to find. Plenty of TG inventory in and out of Australia

I think it is pretty reprehensible that certain bloggers like Lucky and Fabio keep pushing people to buy Lifemiles with their (likely commissioned) partnerships with Avianca Lifemiles when there are these huge limitations
For the rest of you guys: Any buyers' remorse? Or do you still feel you got good value out of it?

There is availability, and it's not the problem of LM if the availability does not fit to your required dates!!!
LifeMiles LH Buenos Airies Availability
