DPS-KUL-DPS day return!?
Hi, looking for advice on a visa related visit to KUL (Indonesia Immigration made a mess and might need to leave the country to obtain a new visa (visa on arrival). So the cheapest flights are DPS-KUL return. I could even go in one day and back. Here is my question:
Is there any requirement to enter Malaysia (pass immigration) or could I just checkin online after arrival - without luggage and hop on the next flight back with Air Asia?! Thanks (EU passport) |
Don't know about KUL, but what about SIN? A bit closer and faster. You could certainly do it there.

If you have a boarding pass you don't need to pass through immigration, and that's the advice on the KLIA website: https://airports.malaysiaairports.co...light-transfer
SIN will be much of muchness if on AirAsia or Jetstar since since departing and arriving pax are kept seperate in T4 (unlike T1/T2/T3). |

Thank you, so in KUL there is no need to pass through immigration, flying Air Asia there and back?

Thanks, I managed to get the Immigration in Indonesia to fix the error on my visa, and it appears I no longer need to do this visa run. Thanks for your input, hope it helps someone else
