Why would not you use credit card for grab?

because I had 150k left.
I'd rather spend it than convert it back to USD at unfavorable rates at the airport currency exchange.

oh.. I see what you mean.. pay with credit card after you arrive at airport if you didn't have enough $ for the surprise 15k surcharge.

The metro station has multiple levels because Ben Thanh will be the hub and multiple routes eventually will connect there. Some other cities do this.

Re: Grab, I haven't used it in awhile but when I first was getting used to it there would be no cars accepting cards, only cash listed as available option. I got in the habit and now I always pay grab with cash.
