I want to fly from Iguazu to Salta (one way). There is a direct flight from Iguazu to Salta via Andes Airline (www.andesonline.com) for $316 to $451 AR.
Has anyone ever used Andes Airline? Any idea if it is safe? Any idea what the luggage limitations are? I can't find it on their web site.
Thanks!

I remember another FTer posting a trip report about Andes... have you tried to search it...?
Also, I suggest you look it up on Trip Advisor, I also remember reading something over there about Andes.
Cheers,

Yes, I'll definitely let you know what happens. I think we're going to chance it since it reduces our travel time so much, assuming things go well, and if not, that's part of the travel experience and we'll have a story to tell.

It's good to take a chance now and again and as you say makes for a good story when it doesn't go according to the plan.

We are back from our trip to Argentina. It was wonderful. First, let me say thank you to all the people that answered questions and gave suggestions. The information really helped make our trip a delightful excursion.
As for Andes Air, maybe we were lucky, but we had absolutely no problems with them. We flew from Iguazu to Salta and Salta to Buenos Aires via Andes. The flights were both on time and very pleasant. Their planes are MD-80s and look well cared for. I never felt unsafe. And we had no problems with our normal luggage fitting in the overhead compartment. Also, many of their people speak some English.
I still have never gotten an email answer from them in either Spanish or English.
