Will CO EQMs count for UA 1K status?

I'm thinking of buying a TK ticket. The fare gives me 1.5 x EQMs on CO but only 1 x EQMs on UA.

I've linked my CO and UA accounts.

Will the TK-based EQMs credited to my CO account count toward my 1K status for next year?

Since both program eqm totals will be merged at the end of the year... yes, it will count. Take advantage of that loop hole while it still exists!

In addition, as the OP has linked the account already, the earning will count through the rest of the year as well. And since CO counts all EQMs for MM status there is a better that these EQMs will also count towards that in the long run than if they are credited to the CO account.

Other than UA flights and some fares on short US metal it is nearly always best to credit non-UA metal flights to a linked CO account at this time.

Yes! Been there, done that. Was accounted for crossing my 75K threadhold for the two CR1's immediately.

Yes, if you link accounts that will work now, otherwise it will be done at the end of the year or sometime.

I have done that with a few SQ flights and it has worked wonders If only I had done it for the first SQ flight this year and I would have an extra 8k eqm

In addition to non-UA flights, I have also been crediting UA flights that earn a class of service EQM bonus (i.e., paid domestic F and paid C) to CO, as the extra EQMs will also count to CO lifetime. The assumption, of course, is that the respective lifetime numbers will just be combined without any retro calculations to harmonize actual earnings (which sounds like it'd be more trouble than it's worth).

Along the same vein, I have a TPac flight coming up that uses ANA on one of the legs. The flight is tied to my CO account so I get 2.5 EQM's but does the revenue from that leg also get credited toward 2012 GS status?

Only UA & CO metal counts towards GS status.

Are you sure you found a fare that earns 250% EQMs? The earning charts max out at 150% from what I'm seeing.

Nope, just a typo, it's 1.5
