NWA Drink Chits / Lounge Pass

Can old NWA beverage coupon or NWA worldclub passes be used with Delta at this point? Will they ever expire?

If they don't have an expiration date then I would give it a try but I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is No.

The good news: If they don't have an expiration date, they are probably good for life.

The bad news: Unfortunately we also know how DL defines "life."

Yes. "For life" means "until some DL Exec gets distracted by the thought of a big bonus for reducing customer service benefits/costs."

At least Lifetime WorldClub memberships are being honored by Delta.

Had an old, torn up (someone thought it was junk mail) WC pass. Denied at JFK SC (argh, those guys!!), not even questioned at BOS - breezed right in.

it's not like they are doing it because they want to be nice guys...legally they purchased NWA and all of it's obligations which includes lifetime WC memberships, the only way to shed these is through bankruptcy (which NWA wasn't able to reenter as they had just exited)

Not to get off topic but it's possible to boomerang right back into bankruptcy (Witness: US). And it's definitely worth an attempt to use the old coupons / lounge passes.

I pulled one out and not knowing the age of the coupon the PMDL FA smiled and grabbed it, saying, what'yll ya have? I guess loyalty is ageless, and the FAs of any stripe are quite good at picking out us road warriors.

I have some old NW drink coupons and they all have expiration dates on them. That said, I've used several of the expired ones without issue. Just play dumb (I'm good at that) and don't advertise to the FA that they are old NW coupons and they will likely accept them.

absolutely possible however it's not possible within X months to do so...NWA was still within the X month limit - so again not an option
