Anyone had such a bad experience with Amex MR?
To make a long story short.
Applied for plat card with 50k bonus. They tell me I'm not eligible as it was targeted. I send them a screenshot and speak to rep that says they will honor it. Then get a secure message they won't do it. I email back, they say sorry for confusion we are going to award it. Now 3 weeks later, I get a new email stating they won't do it.... Talk to a supervisor, says he can't do nothing, I have to fax the corporate office... I am really at my wits end with them. |

This is not that uncommon. But in most cases, people get their points. I had a similar experience a couple months ago with a signup bonus for the Amex Delta Gold card. I wouldn't get your blood pressure up too high over it.

Let's just say I was expecting more from them as a company.
And I really do not appreciate wasting my time to go from dept to dept because they can't figure it out by themselves. |
