Any benefit to PTS for plain vanilla flights

I am new to the Platinum card and am about to book a very simple round trip (LGA-ATL-LGA on DL). Is there any benefit whatsoever to using PTS instead of just doing it myself on Delta.com?

watch out for ticketing fees...

I dont think there is a benefit to using PTS (in fact I think they will charge you a ticketing fee) but if you book at Amex Travel online you will get double MR points.

Thanks. I think for $130 less for the same flight, dl.com will suit me fine.
