IIRC one or two of the templates in the link from my sig do that; if you create a new template, please send it to me to add to the collection.

Another tool that could prove interesting for the iOS crowd is Getaway Geek.

brp has revised his spreadsheet for 2016 conditions.

It can be downloaded from Gargoyle's page linked to in the OP, or

A big ^^ to brp!

Does a 2016 AAdvantage Tracking Spreadsheet Exist?

Has anyone come across a new AAdvantage tracking spreadsheet that reflects the new earning rules that start on 1 January 2016?

I remember reading that brp had made one (see his post in the "JUST THE FACTS" thread here) and that he had given it to JDiver for posting.

ETA: I see that JDiver posted it today. You can find it here.

Looks awesome (first time seeing the sheet), but am I missing something? I don't see it adjusting EQM based on fare code and it still references points... I could go and update the EQP multipliers since that's really what EQMs are in 2016, but not really seeing it matching to 2016 AAdvantage.

OK, I can partially explain the issue - the item linked there is not my spreadsheet :) It comes from the same basic DNA as my original (from McflyPHL, but that's not one that I ever made. And, consequently, it does not have my 2016 updates. I'll try to get this sorted over the weekend.

Cheers.

I'll check with Gargoyle to see what happened and seek alternatives - ideally a FT download source we can control and assure downloads are vetted prior to posting, or our own FT Dropbox or something.

My apologies for any issues - certainly my responsibility, not anyone else's.

Thanks to JDiver, my page of mile tracking spreadsheets has been updated with the 2016 AA Flight Tracker. You can download a copy at http://stonecarver.com/flyertalk/spreadsheet.html

edit to note: I shortened the URL, it's now http://stonecarver.com/flyertalk/

Thanks Gargoyle and JDiver.

The one at the top is my new sheet for 2016. Please let me know if there are any problems or issues.

Cheers.

BRP- for costs, I suppose it doesn't matter until we get to mid-year, but should we be entering only cost exclusive of taxes? Or are you thinking eventually you will need to modify to separate cost of ticket that goes to mileage earning and cost that doesn't?

I don't plan to make any changes for calculating RDM based on cost when that change comes in. The main value of the tool is for looking at EQM as a means to plan for elite qualification. In that case, being able to look forward is useful. For RDM, I think that the AA webpage (which will show things as they are accumulated) should be sufficient. I don't see it as something with a high value in prediction.

Cheers.
