The 787 can handle that with ease.
PHL-TLV was operated by an a332 back in the LUS days. |

I was asking if the economics would work better on a 787 than on a 332 for PHL-TLV.
There is not enough O&D demand and demand willing to pony up for a nonstop from PHL. If you are connecting, there are plenty of options. |

Dan's Deals is reporting a strange launch schedule for JFK-TLV-JFK with 31.5 hours on the ground in TLV. Could that mean there will be another ex-TLV route? 👀

Yes, if they couldn't make DFW or MIA work, LAX is a fantasy.

The inbound crew will not be legal to work the return flight 7 1/2 hours later. I guess that they don't care to deadhead a crew on another airline.

That's gotta be a lot cheaper than parking that plane for 31 hours?

That's above my pay grade. Perhaps there is some planned maintenance.

JonNYC is predicting AA will defer JFK-TLV. With the developments in the Middle East, that would not be surprising at all.

Launch appears to have been pushed back to April 23 based on ExpertFlyer. No public notification yet, but PNRs are having issues displaying.

They cancelled my mid-april flight and confirmed its pushed back until 4/23 EDIT- Not sure if this should go in another section, but can anyone offer some guidance on how I can get rebooked on another carrier. AA is saying this is a schedule change, and made more than 72 hours so IROPS shouldn't apply, however my argument is this is a Significant Change and I should be moved to another airline even if an award seat Biz is not available. Its their responsibility to get me there in the cabin I was ticketed in, not "only if an award is available" Am I wrong? |
