AA's OPs and new software technology
For anyone who is interested in AA's operations and the intersection with new AI technology. This is great news for a more efficient AA operation now, and for the future.
This is not meant to be an OMNI post about investing, but some disclaimers are necessary. Some serendipity as I was doing up to date research for a software company that I am invested in, Palantir. I am glad American Airlines has jumped on board with Palantir. Airbus was one of the early adopters to improve their manufacturing efficiencies and saved 100's of millions of dollars, and then followed by United Airlines (can be seen at AIPCon 4).
In a nutshell, Palantir helps an organization communicate its' own siloed data set, with a LLM of their choosing in order for the organization to become more efficient in operations and forecasting/troubleshooting future scenarios.
For the AA enthusiast, here is the AIP Con Presentation through a YouTuber, as the official video isn't out yet. Starts at 15:32
