Missing AA miles from Cathay Flight
 

Been a month since my Cathay intl trip. AA # was on the ticket and booking but never credited. I also submitted missing flight request on AA site 2-3 weeks ago and zero response. Calling CS I just get automated message saying to use online tool and disconnect.

Do I need to contact Cathay or AA about missing miles? Is there a specific # that handles such issues?

AA will get to it. Eventually.

If this was an economy class ticket, was it in an eligible fare basis for accrual of miles, since only Y, B and H classes are eligible

If on a discount economy ticket, it would explain no miles credited , though unsure whether they should appear as zero credit item

If in Y,B,H economy class or in business or 1st class , then perhaps call Advantage but use options to get through to a human or use an online chat service
