Hasnt come up in a while but has anyone heard more on the Flagship First Dining passes either?

I'm starting to wonder if some of these TBD items may be rolled back entirely

How does one roll back something that never rolled out? ;)

It's a marketing misfire to me to announce this stuff without a clear date and then have no updates for months.

sAAver awards have been gone for almost a year, haven't they? Regardless of how long ago they went away, they definitely aren't a thing anymore, unfortunately. Not sure I've seen any announcement about better access to the new dynamic priced awards that replaced sAAver awards, so I pretty much concluded that benefit was over.

PlatPro feels acceptable enough still

Will hit PlatPro this week and now thinking not to bother with EXP (had EXP for 10 years -prior UA1K for 15+ years). As PlatPro still has no major changes for 2025 I’ll shift to * Alliance for flights as needed and keep only PPro each year (Lifetime UA Plat 2MM) and on many out my flights * flights in discounted business are beating my AA/BA attempts at paying for Biz. Still get OW Emerald and Flagship access

Have had only 50% of domestic upgrades clear last 90 days so no reason to be an EXP domestic - not seeing why I would give AA more money to sit in PY on Intl trips when I see better biz fares on * in many cases sometimes a few hundred dollars to what AA is doing in PY (See the rare off season discounted business fare but too many leisure travelers in premium cabins make that rare on AA more )

I’ve heard that this is only available if you’ve requalified for PPro or Exec Plat for this year. Can anyone confirm? Not seeing it in my account.

Seems like it since the expiration to redeem is 3/31/2026, so would align with 2025 status year.

For those wondering where to find "Use miles for a Flagship® First Dining experience", it's in Rewards Hub -> Enhance with Miles if eligible.

Thank you!
So, for my long connection in MIA to a Qatar flight in Business coming up this week, it looks like I can use this.
Great timing

24K miles seems like a lot given that I recently paid 75K for a flight in business class from Europe to Asia. Now as the awards become less and less available this might change the calculation but still 24K feels like a lot for a dinner.

It does for 1 person, but begins to seems more reasonable for a party of 2 to 3 people.

We flew the reverse QR route on Sunday, and the meals were really good. A few mediocre appetizers in the Admirals club to hold you over, while maintaining your appetite, and you’ve saved 24K miles.

I tend to agree but this time we have a long day in Miami ( a REALLY long day but just not worth leaving the airport to us) and a ton of miles to burn so ...

Let us know how it goes. Wife and I are doing the same next year- 8 hours in Miami while waiting to catch the same flight. 🙂

I can see a 20K FFD dining meal being a really decent option as a family about to fly on a good/cheap Y redemption.
For a J flight I don't think it is worth it.
