Really? Interesting.
I just changed my password and it didn't ask for them. When I click the "Change your Password" link, I get
Are you sure it's not asking you to create security questions/answers?

What is wrong with the obvious approach of calling?

It’s ok to bother us, but you won’t take the simple step of just calling in. Sigh.

Methods of effectively changing aa.com password:
1) Know current password
2) Answer secret questions
3) Call AA
Methods with no chance of changing password:
1) Posting on FT
2) 1000 monkeys typing at 1000 typewriters
3) Underwear gnomes
1) Know current password
2) Answer secret questions
3) Call AA

Secret questions are often just made up by the bank, airline, etc.
One bank kept asking me secret questions that were no way written by me...one of them was "what make of car did your Grandfather drive?" My grandfather didn't have a car; he drove a tractor. They made up the question & answer... Customer service at my credit union admitted that they just make up questions & answers...
So it's likely that the OP never wrote the answers to the questions he was asked..

I try and avoid talking to customer service as much as possible, not an ego thing, just hate being kept on hold.

So you're asking how to access an account where you don't know the account number, password, or any of the security questions, without actually speaking with a human?
What an odd question.

It’s my account and not anyone else’s that I’m trying to access. I get AAdvantage emails with deals and offers. All I know is that I have an account and that’s it.
